Raquet-tailed Roller (Giclée)
$45Price
This Racquet-tailed Roller bird was photographed by the artist at the San Diego Zoo. The blue plumage is lovely, but this bird is more than a pretty face. They are watchful denizens of dry open woodland, and accomplished hunters of insects. Rollers get their name from their acrobatic flight, often rolling over and somersaulting in midair during courtship and territorial disputes.
