Recently retired from a successful career as an engineer, Paula is devoting her full time to art. Over the years she has excelled making jewelry, wirework, beadwork, leatherwork, and fiber arts; always pushing to find new techniques and design possibilities.

Paula follows the advice ‘go to your studio and make stuff’. The ‘stuff’ is more complex now, drawing upon all of these arts and blending them into mixed media works.  She believes that ‘stuff’ should be created on purpose – with an end in view.  Paula’s work seldom ends up looking like her first vision however, developing subtleties and greater depth from embracing new inspirations and challenges along the way.
